A note from the artist: This project was started long before Diana's tragic death. After she passed away I was more determined than ever to keep her alive by trying my hardest to reproduce her to the best of my ability. I hope that you will treasure your Diana doll, and I hope that it helps keep your memories of her alive in your heart. She was a beautiful person inside and out, and I have tried to capture the essence of her inner radiance as well as her outer beauty. It has been an honor to do this.
ITEM # DI-GV-- Diana wearing " Green Velvet" This exquisite column of bottle-green velvet was originaly designed by Cristina Stambolian in 1980 and sold to select boutiques in London. The Princess of Wales most likely purchased the gown from one of these boutiques, and it was worn in public several times. Doll is 28" tall made of porcelain has cloth body, blue glass eyes.
